What You Need to Bring to Have a Blast During the ‘Shagging on the Riverwalk’ Beach Music Concert Series Near Yorktown
July 15, 2015
There are only a few things you need to bring to have a great time during this year's "Shagging on the Riverwalk" Beach Music Concert Series: 1) beach chairs and blankets, 2) a pair of dancing shoes, and 3) a love of music!
During this family-friendly concert series, which takes place every Thursday evening between now and July 30, different bands will take the stage to perform Motown and oldies hits. On July 16, for instance, the locally based ensemble group Coolin Out Band will have the audience jammin' out to a mix of R&B, Motown, Disco, and everything in between! Dancing demonstrations and instruction will be offered by the Colonial Shag Club.
Free and open to the public, "Shagging on the Riverwalk" Beach Music Concert Series takes place at the Yorktown waterfront, not far from Yorktown.
